Putting a face to Business

Yeah OK, 2020 had been a bit of a spanner in the works for many small businesses, entrepeneurs, and those who are starting out with new projects. Even something as simple as updating a profile photo or corporate headshot has become something that needs more planning than is usual.

So we’re delighted that our new studio space allows us to photograph headshots with ease, all in a Covid Secure environment, with full lighting, social distancing in place and delivering stunning results!

This delightful Surgeon visited us recently to get a set of professional portraits ready for her new Practice, and we spent a wonderful hour creating images that we believe will help to set her on the right track as she begins her new venture. With images perfect for Linked In and Facebook, plus photos that can be used online in promoting her practices…um practices… I hope her website and printed materials will include images which put a friendly face to her venture.

Our new studio is ready for the Festivities!

It’s been a funny old year, and after many years of deciding that we no longer require a studio space, as we’re more frequently in Schools, Nurseries and families’ homes, 2020 has seen us reconsider!

And so… TA DAH! Introducing the new Studio, based in Lightwater and ready for customers to visit!

With Schools and Nurseries cancelling portrait day due to the obvious, but families desperate for a special gift for Christmas to give to those family members who have missed so much this year, we are delighted that we now have a solution to help with your family photos in a Covid secure environment, allowing social distancing and a relaxed but fun atmosphere!

We’ve already photographed several families, a handful of children, and some corporate portraits before Lockdown 2 scuppered our plans, but we are ready and raring to go again as soon as restrictions are eased!

So pop along and book your family photography session now! We’re running mini sessions from 2nd December, or book us out for an hour anytime from after Lockdown!

Bringing the indoors out

It’s unusual for a Schools photographer to be asked to photograph Schools outdoors in the depths of Autumn and Winter, but then again everything about 2020 is unusual!

Whilst Schools and Nurseries find it tricky to accommodate their annual photography days as usual, we have been working hard to ensure we can deliver a covid secure photo day, with social distancing in place, PPE available, regular cleaning and – in cases where indoor space is a premium – one unique approach…

We’ve taken the school photography studio outdoors! Our ‘outdoor studio’ allows us to deliver the same clean professional studio portraits that parents expect from School Photo Day, but do it outside! For those Schools who have utilised the hall for classroom space to aid distancing and maintaining bubbles, or those who don’t have the space for us to remain over 2m from the children as we work, this approach has been a lifesaver!

Every School Leaver should get a leavers’ group photograph…

In the depths of this terrible pandemic, sadly, many Schools and Preschools are not able to invite a photographer to visit to capture this year’s Leavers’ photos. Just another element of normal school life to be interrupted. However, we have a great solution!

We have created an easy way to produce a virtual group photo similar to this example. It’s easy to do, with no work needed from the School, and the result is a fab group photo to treasure!

Simply put, Parents upload their own photo of their child to our online portal, and we create an amazing group photo with your child the main star!

Please share this with your friends or anyone you know who may be missing out on their leavers’ photos this year. No matter where the School is based, we can help them to get a fabulous final photo of all their friends as a memento of 2020!

Doorstep Portrait photographs are go!

Now that Lockdown rules have eased, and folk are able to see 1 other person at a social distance, I will finally be offering doorstep portraits during my daily exercise, raising money for the NHS!

These are lovely family portraits taken in a 5 minute session from the safety of a 2m social distance. I’ll stay at the end of your drive, or across the path from your home, whilst you can strike a pose at your front door or in your front garden!

Fun poses, rainbow paintings and Clap for Carers photos actively encouraged as a mark of these unusual times!

All we ask for is a donation to the NHS in return for a copy of your favourite photo!

To request a slot, simply message me, and complete the form on our website to finalise a timeslot. I’ll let you know via text when I’ve arrived.

Available for those in Lightwater and surrounding villages at present as I’ll most likely arrive on my trusty bicycle! Further afield only as and when travel allows, but get in touch anyway!

Leaving but not forgotten…
